When you have your wedding at The Point you have the advantage of professional services at lower country prices. We have a special relationship with all of the support services that we recommend for your special day. If wished we will arrange consultations and make appointments for you.

MARRIAGE CELEBRANT — Fernley-Ann Nielsen is a most popular marriage celebrant and Justice of the Peace.  Fernley-Ann is pleased to work with you both to plan a ceremony you will especially like.  Her fees are included in our basic package.

BOUQUET & FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS — Lois Strahan is a very competent floral designer with many years of experience at providing that special floral effect for your wedding.  From a single rose to an elegant bouquet and wedding party flowers she can do it all at very competitive prices.

WEDDING CAKE — The Point has secured the services of a highly-experienced & talented wedding cake maker and decorator, Anne Anderson of Cottage Cakes. She can offer you a wide range of wedding cake options.

PHOTOGRAPHER — Kevin & Colleen Low, Ray Bygraves and Kal Irwin are talented photographers with extensive experience in wedding photography.  Anyone of them will create lasting memories of your special day to share with family and friends. Digital photography and DVD services are available.

BEAUTY THERAPIST & MAKEUP SPECIALIST — The Point works with Infinate Beauty Therapy, Katikati, to provide the best of attention in both beauty therapy, massages and makeup to make you feel and look really special on your wedding day.

HAIRSTYLIST — The Point provides an in lodge hair styling service with Hair Design by Hillary.  Hillary is a qualified pleasant stylist who can create the look that you want for your wedding day.

TRAVEL — We can provide a “Meet&Greet” service for you and your guests at Auckland, Rotorua & Tauranga Airports.  Excellent rental car rates are available from Unique Cars of Katikati.  We will be happy to assist you with your transfer arrangements.

We recommend booking as early as possible and we are accepting bookings up to 30 April 2011.
However should you need to make a "last minute" wedding booking then we can, subject to lodge availability, organise a wedding with three weeks notice.


• FREE WEDDING CONSULTATION - Either by e-mail, phone or appointment to clarify your ideas, requirements and budget.
• QUOTATION — We will supply you with a written quotation and details of the services to be provided.
• ACCEPTANCE — Upon acceptance we require credit card details to secure your booking, however only a $10 confirmation charge will be made on your card.
• PAYMENT — Final payment will be required on the day of the wedding or at checkout.
• CANCELLATION — In the unlikely event of cancellation a 20% charge of the quoted cost will be made. Full payment will be required for any cancellation within 14 days of wedding day.
